Shadow Edge is a product of Macrame. We respect the intellectual property rights of others and ask the same of our users. This page explains how we respond to claims of copyright infringement and how rights-holders can contact us.

2. How to submit a takedown notice

To be effective, your notice must include all of the elements required by 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3):

1. A physical or electronic signature of the rights-holder or someone authorized to act on their behalf.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it.
4. Your contact information (address, phone number, and email).
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized.
6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act.

3. Counter-notice procedure

If your content was removed and you believe the takedown was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. §512(g). Send it to the same agent address above and include all of the elements required by the statute.

4. Repeat-infringer policy

In accordance with 17 U.S.C. §512(i), we maintain and enforce a repeat-infringer policy. Accounts that receive 3 valid copyright complaints within a rolling 12-month window will be terminated.

5. User responsibility

Each Shadow Edge user agrees, as part of our Terms of Service (see Acceptable Use), that they will only practice with sources they have the right to use. The platform-cookie upload flow requires explicit per-upload confirmation that the user understands this responsibility.
